Clear Blue Betty - Write Your Name in the Sky
To hear a great CD from a great Wisconsin band is important to me. it shows the valuable contibution Wisconsin makes toward music. Clear Blue Betty is a shining example. In their newest album, 'Write Your Name in the Sky', the band shows the focus and determination to really put out some great music.

The best part about this album (well, besides the band and the music itself) is the names that contributed on this CD. John Masino lends his guitar ability to Bulletproof. Sean Michael Dargan brings Bagpipes into 'December 31st'. Charlie Victor from Bascon Hill lends his vocals in the Duet 'Come Over'. the Foutain of Life Worship Center Gospel Choir on 'The Calling' and many other great names.

The Shining tracks: Well, there are a lot of them. Come On Over seems to stick the head the most. Bulletproof is a great Bluesish tune. AO is catchy and it's line is pretty easy to remember. December 31st because it's got bagpipes in it. The list goes on and on.

The CD is available at CBB shows and available at other venues later. Go to www.clearbluebetty.com to catch all the info on this great CD.

The Warehouse Stage opens it's doors

The Warehouse Stage opens it

It's a lot different than when it was a Bowling alley...

Now, deemed as the Warehouse Stage, the bar is dedicating itself to music of all types. Local, Regional and National acts are being planned for future dates. Every Thursday is dedicated to Bands with .25 cent taps night. With a in-house PA and full lighting system run by experienced technicians, the bands look and sound phenomenal.

On May 15th, everyone was treated to the Grand-opening party with 3 acts - Out of Time, B4 the Storm and Wicked Lily. As the bands played, the bar showed off their plans for the newest Middleton venue.

The bar looked completely different from it's predecessor, "Frienz Bar and Grill". The bar was removed, shortened and split into two bars to accomodate more room for patrons. The stage was moved to the East wall, as the old stage was converted to a dressing room. The ceiling tiles were removed to fill the room better with sound.

The only two things that remind us of it's former self are the bathrooms, and the fireplace in the corner. However, if you look above the fireplace, one will notice it's now home to the sound booth for easy mixing of the bands. Music memorabillia has been hung throughout the building, with more on the way.

Even though the focus is on music, The Warehouse Stage will still have other events. Texas Hold-em is every Wed. night. There will be Pool, Dart and Volleyball leagues during their respected seasons. A full food menu is also available to customers.
