Well Ive done the band review thing.....Ive done the festival thing.....Ive done the Bus Tour thing..... now its time to move on.   Im now working on creating a live music TV show.  The video crew is set to roll and the venue has been picked, now Im in the process of writting  scripts and picking the bands to be a part of the pilot episodes.  We may start filming as soon as February in Madison at the High Noon Saloon.  The goal is to film five local bands and edit the shoot into five seperate TV show pilots.  Those pilots will then be aired on 30 public access stations within Wisconsin.  Hopefully the show will generate enough interest and be made into an actually TV show.  The show would feature all styles of music from country and metal to punk and jazz.  If you or your band would be interested in being a part of the pilot filming, please contact me by phone (no WIBANDS messages please) at 608-574-2665 for all the details.  No cover bands please.

I'm curious, CB...how many songs would you need from each band? Would you be essentially filming a whole gig, or would the bands be playing a certain number of songs on stage and then go to interview mode? I know there are some bands out there that are not strictly covers, but are not 100% original either.

SCREAMIN CYN CYN songs are about 1 minute and 52 seconds long.  Im guessing 15 to 20 minutes of coverage of the band.

The time has arrived!  On Sunday, March 22, beginning at 3 pm at the High Noon Saloon, we begin taping the new live music show, "It's All About the Music!"

Clownboy & Susan Masino will present the performances of the Blue Olives, Gladstone, Sand, 20 Reasons Taken, and Aaron Williams and the Hoo Doo.

Come on over to the High Noon on Sunday and show your support for live music. Thank you in advance for your participation.

seems a bit odd that with all the involvement from the clown on this site ...... very little has been said of this event. But then it is kind of sparse on here these days....

The taping seemed to go very well. The bands all did well too! Our "interview" should be interesting to say the least. Congrats Clownboy, cant wait to see the final product!
